What is a personal injury?

California law states that any person injured as a result of someone else's negligence is entitled to recover their
losses (i.e., medical bills, lost earnings, property damage, etc  . . .) and also be compensated for their pain and
suffering from any physical and emotional injuries. I have over 30 years of expertise handling these types of cases
and will guide you through the process.

Why do I need a lawyer?

Insurance companies only care about making money and closing your file for as little money as possible. 
You need someone who cares about you and who will fight for everything you are entitled to receive.

Who pays my lawyer?

You owe me nothing unless I obtain a recovery for you. I receive a percentage of what you receive. The more
you receive, the more I receive in fees which means that I am extremely motivated to get you the best
recovery possible. I advance all costs for investigators, medical and liability experts if needed, and litigation
costs, if needed.  I pay myself back out of your settlement or verdict (most of my cases settle outside of court
and without incurring a lot of costs which means more money in your pocket).

How do I hire a lawyer?

You and the attorney will sign a contract, called a "Retainer Agreement."  This contract protects you and sets
out the duties and responsibilites of the attorney.  Even after signing this contract you can change attorneys and
it will not cost you more money to do so.

How long will it take to settle my case?

As long as it takes to get you what you deserve.  Every case is unique.  Usually after the doctor releases you
from care, the attorney will collect all the necessary information and submit it to the insurance company with a
demand of settlement based on the nature and extent of your injuries, your future medical care, your out-of-pocket
losses based on the unique facts of your case. It is important for you to keep tract of and advise your doctor
of all activites of daily living that are affected by your injuries (i.e., sleeping, eating, getting dressed, working,
playing with your kids, maintaining your house, etc. . .).
